Sensable vehicle detectors are inductive loop detectors used to detect the presence and movement of vehicles in:

• Boom gates

Operating Principle

• A loop cable is installed in the ground
• The detector monitors the loop’s inductance field
• When a vehicle passes over:
  • Metal mass changes the field
  • Detector activates output relay

 This is the same principle used by Marantec loop detectors.
