Marantec Bi.Linked Digital 564

The Digital 564 is a:

  • Compact handheld Bi·Linked remote transmitter
  • Used for garage doors, gates, and industrial door systems
  • Designed for multi-device control in one remote

It is one of Marantec’s most versatile 4-button remotes in the Bi·Linked range.

Bi·Linked Radio System

The Digital 564 uses Marantec’s modern Bi·Linked platform:

  • 128-bit AES encryption (bank-level security)
  • Rolling code system (code changes every transmission)
  • Unidirectional communication (remote → receiver only)

Meaning:

Every button press generates a unique encrypted signal, making copying extremely difficult.

Buttons & Functionality

Controls

  • 4 freely programmable function buttons

What they can control

Each button can be assigned to:

  • Garage door 1 / 2 / 3
  • Gate system
  • Lighting or auxiliary relay
  • Industrial door functions

LED feedback

  • Red LED indicator
    • Confirms transmission
    • Basic status feedback

Frequency Options

Depending on region:

  • 433 MHz version
  • 868 MHz version

 Important:

  • Must match receiver frequency exactly
  • 433 and 868 versions are not interchangeable

Electrical & Power Specs

  • Battery: CR2032 lithium coin cell (3V)
  • Low power consumption → long battery life
  • Replaceable battery

Physical Specifications

  • Dimensions: 39 × 92 × 12 mm
  • Weight: ~0.04 kg (40 g)
  • Housing: Mini ergonomic design
  • Attachment options:
    • Keyring loop
    • Wall bracket included in many kits

Environmental Specs

  • Operating temperature: −20°C to +60°C
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor handheld use
  • Resistant to normal industrial conditions

Compatibility

Works with:

Receivers

  • Bi·Linked Digital 921
  • Digital 941
  • Digital 992
  • Other Bi·Linked RF modules

Systems

  • Garage door operators
  • Industrial door controllers (CS-series with Bi-Linked receiver installed)
  • Multi-door automation setups

Security System

Core security features

  • AES 128-bit encryption
  • Rolling code (changes every press)
  • Unique pairing required per receiver

 Result:

  • Cannot be cloned easily
  • Safer than older Multi-Bit systems

Engineering Notes

Not compatible with Multi-Bit

  • Bi·Linked ≠ Multi-Bit
  • Completely different encryption system

Unidirectional system

  • No feedback from door to remote
  • (Unlike Digital 663, which is bidirectional)

System hierarchy

Remote → Bi-Linked Receiver → Controller → Motor
